Weekend Blog Love

Well, hello there! Welcome to another edition of Weekend Blog Love! If you’re new around these parts, this weekly update is my way of sharing what’s been happening in my life over the past week. It’s also my way of sharing the love to other great blogs that I read. I spend a good chunk of my mornings reading other blogs and I love to curate lists of my favorite posts.

This past week went by in a flash for me, and I honestly can’t believe the weekend is already here!

I was approached by a publisher last week about including some of my artwork in a new planner that is coming out this fall… so exciting! This planner is going to feature some awesome coloring pages from me and several other super-talented artists, so stay tuned for more info!

I’ve also been getting a lot of requests lately (mostly over on Instagram) to digitize my artwork in the form of coloring pages. I’m happy to report that I’m doing just that, and will soon be publishing my very own coloring book for adults! Yay!

Are you a Boho Berry Tribe Member? If so, check your inbox for this awesome FREE printable coloring page! If not, what are you waiting for? ;)

If you’re a Boho Berry Tribe Member, then you already received the link to my very first printable coloring page yesterday. I’m going to be including freebies like this one from now on.

If you’re not a member yet and would like to get some of my coloring pages for FREE, then head on over to the signup page by clicking the above image. Exciting things are happening, y’all!

Now grab yourself a cuppa and get ready to dive in to my favorite blog posts from this past week!

It's the first Weekend Blog Love of the Fall! Come check out some of my favorite reads this week from some of my favorite bloggers! :)

>> Why Seeking Solitude is Not Selfish
As an ambitious career woman and caring Mama/Wife/Partner/Friend, it is very easy to cancel time for yourself to ensure others are taken care of first. While this may appear honourable at first, the glitch in the system occurs when you forget to reschedule your ‘me-time’, instead deciding you’ll just leave it for another day, when you have more spare time, less to do or the kids aren’t so busy, only to keep putting it off until you’ve reached boiling point and you’ve been awarded Queen B*^h…again! Sound familiar?

>> 9 Intentional Ways to Challenge Consumerism in Your Life
Consumerism is not a pathway to joy and meaning in life. This is not a new revelation. In fact, we all know it to be true. If specifically asked the question, nobody would ever say the secret to a joyful, meaningful life is to buy a lot of stuff. Deep down in our hearts, we know we were made for something bigger—something more significant than mere consumption.

>> 5 Things You Should Do About Your Health if You’re an Online Entrepreneur
There’s a lot of glorification around the entrepreneurial lifestyle. And while it does allow for you to bring in your own money and have more independence, entrepreneurship can become an obsession. I could literally sit in a room for 12+ hours and crank out content, strategize sales funnels and peek back and forth on social media. It’s not until baggy eyes, poor social skills and 20 pounds later that you realize you’ve been working so hard on your business that you’ve let EVERY other aspect of your life suffer.

>> A Morning Ritual for Self-Love in Five Easy Steps
Over the years, I have found that what you do early in the morning, during that tiny moment where you wake up and become aware of your existence, can make or break your entire day. So, to me, having a good morning routine is essential to being happy.

>> 11 Reasons to Own Less Stuff
I’ve been slowly but surely getting rid of the excess, and feel myself getting lighter and more free with each box that hits the donation pile. I wouldn’t consider myself a minimalist, but I’m striving to live my own version of simplicity in a way that fits my family in this season of our life. Today I wanted to share a few huge benefits I’ve discovered lately in owning less stuff. I hope this inspires you if you are seeking out some motivation to pare down your own possessions!

Did you notice a trend in this week’s posts? I sure did! There has been a huge shift in the blogosphere lately towards topics like self-care and minimalism. As you know by now, these subjects are near and dear to my heart and I am SO excited to be finding amazing reads like these when I wake up every morning.

I am so grateful to each and every one of the bloggers that I have featured in this series so far. The insights and shared wisdom that you all share with the rest of us are invaluable. Thank you!
