Happy Saturday, y’all! I’m happy to report that I’m feeling almost 100% better this morning… yay me! I’m feeling super pumped this morning, and for good reason. I’m starting my Whole30 tomorrow! That means that today is all about preparation, preparation, preparation.
Mark’s flight left super early this morning, so I was up WAY earlier than usual (hello, 4am!) to say goodbye. He’ll be gone for almost 2 months this time around (sad face). But, as usual, I’m looking on the bright side. I’m taking advantage of his absence to really dive in to this clean eating challenge and create a lifestyle change around the way that I eat.
As I’m writing this it is 7:30am here. I have already completed my Miracle Morning routine and planned my day out in my bullet journal. Most importantly, I cleared out my fridge and pantry of all the things that I will not be eating over the next 30 days. So far, I would call this day an epic success!
As promised, I will be updating you on my progress once a week here on the blog. I’ve decided that the best days for me to post updates will be on Sundays, so stay tuned starting on Sunday, September 20th for my first weekly update.
