Who doesn’t love perusing the table of small, pick-it-up-put-it-down books at their favorite book store? The kind you can flip to any page and get a nugget of insight without having to make a big commitment.
How might your life change if you read just a bit of one of those books every day? That’s what we’re going to find out in the Boho Berry Book Club this month by reading You Are a Badass Every Day by Jen Sincero.
If you’d like full instructions on how the Boho Berry Book Club works and how to join, head here.
We read Sincero’s previous book You Are a Badass in the club last August and it was such a hit that our members voted to bring back more!
This book is an extension of that one, with bite-sized bits of wisdom and affirmations designed to give you a mini boost instead of a deep dive, and I think that can be refreshing sometimes. There’s only so much helping-of-the-self you can do before you reach reflection burnout — striving for constant improvement can become draining.
So let’s step refresh this month while keeping our momentum by picking up a small book, flipping to a page, getting a little boost and then putting it down. And let’s do it together!

Kristen Rogers Anderson co-hosts the podcast Guide to the Unknown (talkbomb.com/gttupod), where she and her brother Will Rogers talk about mysteries, the paranormal, urban legends and folklore, but ya know, keep it light. She works as an assistant for Kara Benz and probably packed those Boho Berry stickers in your journal.
Kristen also teaches restorative yoga (basically an assisted nap) and has a major thing for Bravo programming. She loves being outside with her dog, Crumbs, eating good food in restaurants or crappy food in front of the TV with her chef husband, Ryan, and cracking up with her very, very loved friends and family.
