Welcome to the final day of Lisa Jacobs’ New Year for a New You series! I’m excited to be wrapping up this review with solid intentions and goals for 2017.
I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing it feels to have a clear path ahead of me for the new year. I hope that you’ve enjoyed tagging along on my own personal review and that you’ve found some clarity on your own path as well :)
If you’re just tuning in, check out Wednesday’s post where I explain a bit about the seven-day review, why it means so much to me, and a peek at my responses so far.
Day 1 was all about appreciating all of the good in 2016 — accomplishments, favorite memories, and more!
Day 2 was a continuation of that review, reflecting on some of the tougher questions, and analyzing what could have been better in 2016.
Day 3 was all about intention setting in five areas — financial, spiritual, mental, relational, and physical.
Day 4 was filled with prompts to help you set clear goals for the new year and stretching your comfort zone a bit.
Day 5 was centered around charting where you spend your time, analyzing how that’s working for you, and thinking about ways to schedule your time to better fit your personal values.
Day 6 was all about turning those goals and intentions into project maps to help you visualize the road going forward.
In Day 6, Lisa challenged us to create a project map for each pillar of life – Financial, Spiritual, Mental, Physical, and Relational. The idea here is to use our answers from Day 3 to guide us in setting goals for 2017.
Using the graphic above as a reference, I dove straight into my Bullet Journal to start plotting and planning my goals and action steps for 2017:
Just ignore the page on the left – I’m experimenting with a running list this week since I’m doing a ton of traveling and don’t have time for daily pages ;)
I absolutely LOVE how these pages turned out in my Bullet Journal. Having my goals broken down into bite-sized pieces will be great when I’m creating my action plan going forward.
Over the next couple of weeks, I’m going to be combining these 5 goals and plans into a giant year-long calendar of tasks and events. My hope is to have a solid plan for what needs to be done each and every month in 2017 to ensure that I hit my targets.
Once I return from vacation at the end of January, I’ll post an update here for you to show my plan for the entire year.
That’s it for day 6!
Thank you for joining me for this seven-day review!
